First Website Update -8/18/26-Elevated

A small change of pace from the usual wallet updates every month, I decided to harden the website for privacy and security and just user friendly utility. The marketplace and explorer already worked but now a lot more works and is more intuitive!

What is new with SYNX website/Forums

## The site speaks 18 languages now

Every page. Not just the menus — the **articles, the guides, the forum posts, the
marketplace listings, the time, the API, the whole thing.**

🇬🇧 English · 🇪🇸 Español · 🇩🇪 Deutsch · 🇫🇷 Français · 🇮🇹 Italiano · 🇵🇹 Português
🇳🇱 Nederlands · 🇸🇪 Svenska · 🇩🇰 Dansk · 🇵🇱 Polski · 🇹🇷 Türkçe · 🇷🇺 Русский
🇺🇦 Українська · 🇯🇵 日本語 · 🇰🇷 한국어 · 🇨🇳 简体中文 · 🇹🇼 繁體中文 · 🇸🇦 العربية

That's 36,000+ strings across 680 pages. There's a flag menu in the header —
pick a language and it follows you everywhere: forums, docs, marketplace, your
profile. Arabic and Hebrew-style right-to-left layout flips properly too.

## Privacy: your language, not your location

Most sites geolocate you and call it personalisation. Here's how ours works:
  • Your IP is read once, in memory, to pick a language — then overwritten before the page even fully renders.
  • No invasive accept tracking cookies bullshit metadata leaks
  • It is never stored. Never logged. Never sent to anyone.
  • The country lookup runs against a table on our own disk.
  • No third-party API. Nobody else learns that you visited a post-quantum privacy coin.
  • Anything that has to be remembered is a

    Keccak-256

hash under a salt, which is destroyed and rotated every 24 hours
— you're not even linkable toyourself across two days.
  • Pages you're logged into are marked no-store: your browser is told never to write them to disk. Nothing left in the cache to recover.
  • Zero analytics. No tag manager, no pixel, no beacon. Nothing phones home.
One click on the language menu overrides the guess permanently. You're never
trapped in a language someone else picked for you.

There's a full breakdown in Settings → Privacy if you want the details of exactly how this all works and how I try to protect you on surface web and more recommendations like ublock origin plugin agent switcher, tor browser a vpn (Virtualization for the real shadows) etc.

## Security harden

I had the whole codebase audited — properly, not a glance. Everything found got
fixed. The ones worth mentioning:
  • Uploads are rebuilt from scratch. Every avatar, banner, post image and
product photo gets its container reconstructed from decoded pixels only.
That strips GPS coordinates and camera serial numbers out of photos —
Now no fed can track you for posting an image since we scrambled it even more with paranoi. It also kills anything hidden after the end-of-image marker.
  • Wiped out a data-loss bug. A single malformed character in a reply could have blanked the entire replies file. Permanently. That can't happen now.
  • Rate limiting was deleting its own records — every throttle on the site was effectively off. Fixed.
  • Closed a marketplace payment hole, a stored-XSS route, and a handful of cross-site request issues.
I figured since the wallet is a fortress of paranoi and extreme privacy I might as well extend that to the surface website as much as I can without going full .onion

## Ranks and achievements

There are 25 ranks now, and they're actually earnable.

The like button was broken on pinned threads — the ones everybody reads —
so "Beloved" was close to impossible. Fixed.

Climb by posting, starting threads, being liked, giving likes, quoting people,
or just showing up. Some highlights:

| | |
|---|---|
| 👻 Geist | Post anonymously. Credited to you without the post ever becoming linkable |
| 🦍 Affe | Say monkey. Pour one out for Harambe |
| 📐 Mathematiker | Name the real cryptography — Kyber-768, a lattice, SPHINCS+ |
| 🐉 Hydra | Say "Hail Hydra" | Showing respect to the post quantum Hydra we are creating by making miners=compute=electricity=new currency Read More about Hydra
| 🦈 Hai | 1,000 words inside a single thread. Depth, not volume |
| 🦾 Cyborg | Post seven days running |
| 🗿 Moai | Get a thread pinned. It outlasts you now |
| ⚛ Quantennativ | 1,000 posts. You Sind the forum |

Your profile shows how close you are to the next one, and you can **pin four
favourites** to your profile. Hover any badge to see exactly how to get it.

## Also

- Navigation added to profile, settings, whispers and notifications — you can
actually get back now
  • Noble badge holders show it on their profile
  • Fixed the timeline "Network error" that broke posting
  • Fixed login/register serving the same page
  • Privacy API developer guide is public and fully translated for anyone to use cough even tor users
  • Your mining has contributed to the hydra AI growing, it now sorts orders and automates them much quicker processing, some people are already seeing return on their investment of electricity.
We hope to continue this until the hydra kills the demonic snake holding our people in chains of fiat. Hail Hydra

why are you using SHA-3 (keckack-256 for encryption) if this is a quantum blockchain? Also if you aren't using .onion and virtualization and a farday cage no point in hardening privacy imho, people just have to use a vpn like you recommended or Tor.

Also explorer isn't translating
keep it up brother fighting the good fight

The one thing I deliberately left in English: the block explorer. It's a tool: hashes, heights, addresses, timestamps. There's barely a sentence on it to translate, and a wallet address that reads the same in every language is a feature and most are private anyways.
The developer guide next to it is translated.

Keccak-256 isn't encryption, it's a one-way hash: As for putting post-quantum encryption on the website.
You answered it yourself: it'd bloat every message and IP by kilobytes for a threat that doesn't apply to a hash, so we spend the bandwidth where the math actually needs it and tell people to use Tor for the rest.
