Sending SYNX through the SynX quantum-resistant wallet is straightforward. This guide covers standard transactions, privacy features, and confirmation processes.

Sending a Standard Transaction

  1. Open your SynX quantum-resistant wallet
  2. Click "Send" or navigate to the Send tab
  3. Enter the recipient's SynX address
  4. Enter the amount to send
  5. Confirm the transaction details
  6. Enter your wallet password to sign
  7. Wait for network confirmation

Address Verification

Always Verify Addresses: Double-check addresses before sending. Cryptocurrency transactions cannot be reversed.
  • Verify the first and last characters match
  • Use copy/paste rather than manual typing
  • Consider sending a small test amount first for large transactions

Two Ways to Send

SynX is dual-tier: transparent by default, shadow on demand. Know which one you are using before you hit send.

  • Transparent send (the default): visible on the block explorer — amount, sender, recipient. The same as Bitcoin. We say so plainly rather than dressing it up.
  • Shadow send (private): Kyber-768 encrypted (NIST FIPS 203) and routed through a rotating burner address — a fresh address for that transaction, never reused. The relay daemon masks the private addresses before the explorer ever receives them, so the explorer never holds the naked data. Shadow balances and transaction lists return as "Private" and the address renders masked. The record carries privacy_tier: shadow.

Privacy is a choice you make per transaction, not a blanket claim we make for you.

Proving a Payment Without Surrendering Your History

If you need to show someone that a private payment happened, SynX issues an ephemeral view key. It is scoped to a single transaction and lives thirty minutes, then it is gone — not revoked, not archived, no record left to subpoena. It is never written to disk; it exists only in volatile memory across the Wildlands node mesh.

Disclosure requires two things: the transaction hash and the view key. Neither alone reveals anything. And even holding both, what surfaces is the amount only — never the graph. Not who paid whom, not balances, not history. Zcash view keys are permanent and transferable; one disclosure there grants lifetime surveillance. SynX issues expiring capabilities, not permanent identity grants.

Zero Gas Fees

Are my sends private by default?
