SynergyX uses a 5-tier emission curve that halves at supply milestones, not time intervals. Rewards per block: Tier 1 = 12 SYNX (until 5M circulating supply), Tier 2 = 6 SYNX (until 15M), Tier 3 = 3 SYNX (until 35M), Tier 4 = 1.5 SYNX (until 55M), Tier 5 = 0.75 SYNX (until the 77.7M cap). After the cap the block reward is 0. The hard cap is 77.7 million SYNX, enforced in source code by static_assert.

When does the first SynergyX halving occur?

When circulating supply reaches 5 million SYNX, at which point the block reward drops from 12 SYNX to 6 SYNX. There is no fixed date, because the trigger is supply rather than a clock - the halving arrives exactly as fast as the network mines toward it. Emission is bounded by a hardcoded curve no human can amend, no matter how much hash power arrives.

Are the SynergyX halvings on a block-height schedule?

No. Unlike Bitcoin, which halves on fixed block heights, SynergyX reads its own circulating supply and steps the reward down when a milestone is crossed: 5M, 15M, 35M, 55M and finally the 77.7M hard cap. Because the trigger is supply, the block height of each halving is not fixed in advance - it depends on real network activity, which anyone can watch on the block explorer.

What is the Kyber Encapsulated Seal?

The Kyber Encapsulated Seal is a post-quantum SPHINCS+ signature (7,856 bytes) tied to the miner's Kyber-768 identity. It is created when a miner completes the Faith Proof burn of 5 SYNX. The seal is permanent - it never expires and unlocks mining through every tier and halving indefinitely. The burn is anonymous: the chain records that a sacrifice occurred but does not know which wallet made it.

How does SynergyX halving compare to Bitcoin halving?

Bitcoin halves every 210,000 blocks on a fixed 4-year schedule with a 21M hard cap and no burn mechanisms. SynergyX halves at supply milestones (5M, 15M, 35M, 55M, 77.7M) and actively burns supply through Dragon Burn (0.65% per block), Faith Proof (5 SYNX), Transaction Burn (0.25% of miner fee revenue, dormant until 50M supply), and Oracle Burn (1 SYNX per 10 AI chats). Ordinary SynergyX sends carry no fee; Bitcoin sends pay transaction fees. Bitcoin supply is static after 2140. SynergyX supply actively contracts after 77.7M.

What happens after the 77.7M supply cap is reached?

Minting stops. The block reward becomes 0 - there is no tail emission - while the transaction and Oracle burns keep running. Since those burns keep destroying coins while none are being created, the circulating supply actively shrinks over time. A safety floor at 10M SYNX automatically disables all burns if supply drops below that threshold, preventing protocol self-destruction.

How much SYNX will circulate in 5 and 10 years?

Minted and circulating supply are published live on the block explorer; cite them there with a date rather than projecting them. Year 10: approximately 11 million minted, 9 to 10 million circulating. The gap between minted and circulating grows over time as cumulative burns accelerate. Post-cap, the circulating supply contracts indefinitely toward the 10M safety floor.
